I See IOC Practice

I had to record this twice because I accidentally deleted the first recording, so if it sounds unusually coherent (which it won't), that's why.

(By the way , even though this has nothing to do with the IOC, I just wanted to note that most of the photoshop things in this are manifestations of concepts that were created by my smart peers, and the music at the end is Hall of the Mountain King.)

  1. Overall, I think you did a good job, Oliver. The beginning was clear enough because you stated the title, author, publication, etc, of the passage, and you make it clear about what your going to speak about: diction and characterization. It was helpful to have your annotated passage too because I liked being able to look at how other people annotate their page. To add to that, I also like how you deviate away from what the suggested questions ask at the bottom of the page because it helps show your knowledge on the text.

  2. Ok first of al bloody nice job, and now for the evaluation peice, i would say one of your strongest aspect is your oragnization of your arguemnt although it is a simple task, i had a great difficulty doin such, you accomplished this by showing explaining the first scene in the selection and then by exploring the aspects of characterization found within , and then You did the same throughout the whole passage in an achronistic manner. secondly Your usage of characterization is remarkable i didnt imagine that YOu can go that indepth with some thimes shallow scens, but you combined both diction and an characterization to support the over arching effect of the selection on the meanin of the whole story in general, an thus You implied the effect if such details or knowledge were not present throughout the story. so everall good job and sell those pictures $$$$$$

  3. You did really good on this! Like Omar said, you did really well with organization and it was clear that you had a plan for what you were going to talk about and the order it would be in. I felt like I was just reading down the page in mine.
I think it fits that you focused a lot on the characters and their dialogues and motivations/ etc, because that's sort of what the book does too (even though they are clones and theres probably a lot to say about that, it focuses on the characters and their relationships)
